We also take part in a number of other activities:

• Sports matches with local schools
• Visits to local secondary schools
• Pupils take part in both the Infant and Junior Music Festivals
• We share our pool facilities with small schools in the Chelmsford area as part of the Infant Splash
• Taking part in competitions to improve our school and the quality of provision
• Harvest for the Hungry and Christmas Shoe Boxes
• Barnardo's Concert in London

The school has links with a range of community organisations throughout the year.

• We have a termly Family Sunday Service at St Martin's Church and school worship.  We also visit the URC for a termly school service.
• Clergy from different local churches regularly lead school worship.
• Decorated Harvest boxes are delivered to elderly members of the village following our Harvest Festival.
• The Good Companions are invited to watch our Christmas production and enjoy refreshments afterwards.
• Year 6 pupils lay a wreath at the village War Memorial as part of the Remembrance Day Service.
• Staff and pupils participate in village carol singing at Christmas
• Our school is represented in the Parish Magazine
• Our School Council has met with the Parish Council.
